2/27/08 In attendance: Susan, Renata, Zaneta, Jennifer, Cherie Ann 1) Cherie Ann introduced her Amethyst Bio Mat - used for speeding healing and promotion of general well being. She generously allowed each of us the opportunity to experience the amazing sensations of the Bio Mat. While these mats may be purchased at such venues as Whole Life Expo, Total Health Expo, and the Yoga Show, we are grateful that they can also be purchased directly from Cherie Ann, whose specialty areas include Nutrition, Crystal Healing and Quantum Touch. We were thrilled to hear about her Spiritual Cinema Circle, where participants viewed Ultimate Gift. 2) Jennifer, who is also a practitioner of Quantum Touch, treated Susan to a valuable healing session, and recommended a film called Peaceful Warrior, which has a spiritual teaching message that we may all be interested in. 3) NIA 25th Anniversary celebration will be taking place on March 29th, 2-4 pm...join me! check it out on the web site www.niac.ca. 4) The idea of introducing a Spa Day for The Healing Cooperative was discussed, where interested individuals would join our Members and experience all that we have to offer in one space, filling the space with positive loving energy, and getting a taste of each of the talents our members have to share...this will be a monthly treat - maybe on a Sunday? from 11 to 4? Date to be announced... 5) We coined a name for the bi-monthly meetings of the Members of The Healing Cooperative...New Moon and Full Moon Healing Circles...where we will first discuss business, and then share healing with one another, drink tea, and BOND. :) 6) Mystic Drumz...may be something that we would like to experience... They could be invited to one of our Healing Circles! or to a workshop evening... 7) Sufi Dancing - Cherie Ann introduced us to this fascinating monthly event - 1st Tuesday of the month, 7:30 to 9pm, combining spirituality, music and dance...I need the name and address of the venue...sounds amazing... 8) Swirling - this concept was discussed and may be something to explore and offer through The Healing Cooperative... 9) Chant dancing - another fabulous idea...trance dancing with live musicians is another variation, and Kirtan - with live call and respose 10) Rio Calliente - organic healing spa in Mexico - its for sale....investors? 11) Chakra Workshop - Renata will be running this fabulous program in the Spring...look out for more info on this... 12) Emotional Intelligence Workshops - Renata has plans for these as well...they promise to be something very special - focusing on developing the creative side of professionals in all fields, encouraging a mental-pollution free state in coworkers, and free expression / creativity. 13) Zaneta introduced herself to the group as a student of Nutrition and a Physical Fitness Trainer. We look forward to learning from and working with Zaneta. 14) Advertising for The Healing Cooperative was discussed. Potential publications include: Richmond Hill Post, The Liberal, Jewish News, Vitality, Toronto Star.
